36, has been elected elected chair of HIV/AIDS Association of Zambia (HAAZ). A former maths teacher and business manager, Musinmenda volunteers for the UKC and is studying for a MBA. “My vision is to see PLWHA move away from the benefit culture to a working one,” he told PN.


News has reached PN that marketing specialists 90Ten have won the Communiqué 2004 Award for their London-based You Choose HIV campaign. The campaign directs men who have sex with men to a website where they can assess their personal risk of HIV infection and locate local testing facilities. It aims to increase testing and early diagnosis. The site is managed by Chelsea & Westminster Healthcare NHS Trust and supported by an educational grant from GlaxoSmithKline, can be visited online at www.youchoose.org.uk

Gay Men’s Health Charity (GMFA) are looking for HIV positive gay men to take part in a new online survey. Tim Molloy, Project Manager said: "More information about what HIV positive gay men's need is vital for us to continue to provide the best quality campaigns we can, and to target the right information to the right people."
