THERAPY OF THE MONTH

EMF BALANCING TECHNIQUE

Picture of Franck Franck Prud’homme was sceptical about the idea of tapping into the power of universal energy to improve well-being - until he tried it

I came across the EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field) Balancing Technique in 2002 while working in a shop in central London. At the time I was doing tarot card readings for my clients and didn’t think there was anything else I could do for them. I was introduced to the technique by a work colleague, and frankly didn’t think much of it. I saw it as just the latest in a long string of New Age crazes taken up by people who pretend to be spiritual but who are really only struggling find their place in society.
I remained sceptical and dismissive until my colleague started to talk more about the technique and demonstrated it. Suddenly I felt like something was exploding inside my heart and between my eyebrows. I knew at that moment that I could not dismiss or ignore what had just happened.
I visited the website and found more out about the system. It was discovered by Peggy Phoenix Dubro in the ’80s. It is an energy system designed to work with the Universal Calibration Lattice (UCL), an energy structure gained through evolution that connects each of us with the universe on a very individual and intimate way. The UCL is part of the human energy anatomy which acts like a circuit allowing the energy to be accessible to us.
The technique is now practised and taught in 56 countries around the world, by people in diverse cultures and religions. The aim is to know and live one’s life as fully as possible by becoming aware of the energy of love, the connectedness of all things, and the unique and sacred nature of each human.
It is a simple, systematic procedure anyone can learn and uses the human to human effect upon the electromagnetic field. There are now eight phases, each designed to strengthen the UCL.

Method
Practitioners work with golden and platinum energy through a certain number of phases and movements (similar to T’ai Chi) that involve minimal physical contact. This slowly builds the energy within our bodies. The session takes place on a massage table while the practitioner prepares the client’s energy field, then moves to a process of ‘clearing’ them and stretching ‘fibres’ to normal shape. This is followed by a ‘balancing’ process where the practitioner places hands on several energy centres. He/she then closes the session.
Each session provides a powerful realignment within the energy anatomy that in turn strengthens the UCL.
The technique aims at establishing self-empowerment and partnership with the unified energy field, the Cosmic Lattice or Universe.

The eight phases
Phase 1: wisdom and emotions: releases stress and establishes a pattern of
freedom and well-being.
Phase 2: self-direction and support: releases the energy restraints
Phase 3: radiate core energy: encourages the increased flow of spiritual intelligence into your daily life
Phase 4: establishes a connection and communication with future self, channelling future potential energy into the co-creation of the present reality.
Phase 5: establishes the Template of Infinite Love.
Phase 6: establishes the Template of Infinite Compassion.
Phase 7: establishes the Template of Infinite Presence.
Phase 8: establishes the Template of Infinite Wisdom.

I have been trained as a practitioner and teacher for the first four phases and will probably go for the next phases soon. One of the most obvious results is my personal transformation since discovering the technique. It has been a tremendous help to me whilst facing my HIV diagnosis and dealing with the post diagnosis period. It has helped me to rethink and re-create myself and helped me to put myself at the front of my life by changing my own behavior and attitude towards life.
