Why are people on HIV treatments coming down with cancers?
"I don't know but I think they'll eventually find that it's related to the HIV drugs.
"I just want to enjoy the rest of my life and live as normally as possible. Of course I'm angry, I'm upset and am not ready to die yet. I don't feel angry with the doctors, it's not their fault, and they've done everything they can for me."
How do you stay so strong mentally?
"I don't know. It's just the way I am. You just cope because you have to.
"And the only disadvantage of having a ground floor flat is that I can't have a Stannah chair-lift like Lily Savage or Thora Hird in those adverts at the back of the Radio Times."
