And so the conference ended with delegates renewed in their activism. As they left the Port of Spain Hilton conference centre, a venue reminiscent of the 1960s Thunderbirds HQ, I for one hoped that many more would start working harder in the international rescue against HIV and to improve the human rights of all those living with the virus.
