I had never received a bad reaction from dis-

closing to a partner, but that day was soon to come.
I recently started seeing a younger guy at my college, the first relationship
I had entered into for over a year. It was a whirlwind; it seemed as if
nothing could stop this romance from blossoming. But I knew that I had
to tell him.
It wasn't that we had started a sexual relationship or that we had talked
of making a commitment to each other, but in my eyes it seemed like the
only possible choice and what I would expect from others.
Never before have I received a reaction as intense as the one I received
