SPRING's HERE
positive nation

We know that banging on about condoms can be counterproductive. OK: but the fact remains that

we people with HIV, more than anyone, having managed to survive and thrive despite a feared infection, should particularly be helped to value and preserve our health.
So this month the emphasis is on prevention. We celebrate GMFA's 10 years of passionate advocacy for gay men's health; we go to the CHAPS Conference and hear gloom and infighting about HIV prevention - which needs to be redressed - and in a reminder that cruisers are not the only people vulnerable to HIV, we follow Mainliners round south London as they hand out clean works to drug users.
Celebrate the spring - but take care. And fight, along with people like GMFA, for the means to keep yourselves safe.

Happy Holidays.
