foot

Keith Bishop explains the healing power of reflexology

How often do you consider your feet? I mean, REALLY consider them? For most of us, days can go by when we hardly even look at them, except to dry them with a towel and pull on socks or tights. We squeeze them into uncomfortable shoes and forget about them. However, to a reflexologist, the feet are the key to understanding and healing the mind, body and spirit, and need to be treated with care and reverence.
Despite being relatively new on the complementary therapy scene, reflexology is an ancient form of healing, with archaeological and historical records showing its prominence in ancient Egypt, China, India,

Japan and Russia. It is based on the idea that all of the body's organs and systems are mirrored on specific reflex points on the feet. By manipulating the feet and working over all of these reflex points, a skilled practitioner helps the body return

itself to a state of perfect balance, or homeostasis, promoting health and a sense of well-being.
