From PN's local MP

Thank you for communicating your recent concerns about funding for the prevention of HIV. I received several letters about this, and was interested to hear about constituents' concerns about this matter with regard to the new Primary Care Trusts. As you requested, I have passed your comments onto Yvette Cooper MP and of course, will keep you informed of the result.
Kate Hoey, MP for Vauxhall, House Of Commons

Talk is precious
Thank you for including my comments on the services, or lack of, in north London on the UKC Positive Voices Forum. Just before Christmas I visited the North Middlesex Hospital. I met a former 'service user' (ugh, I hate that phrase) of the much-missed FACTS clinic. He was still depressed over the closure of FACTS, and his poor physical health means he simply cannot access The Globe or Lighthouse. How many more are out there like him?
The authorities have always had one thing on their side - our poor lack of quick communication, and our inability to call for advice or help from others. Your forum can greatly lift that impediment.

Thanks, Mancs!
Tell us more about Manc artist Gary Cartwright. He seems to have the right idea. I was on the verge of giving up until I read his story. He has taught me to put my anger into fighting back and not giving up. Will he be coming to London again? If so, when?
