the sweet smell of healing
positive nation

...and for special needs
Aromatherapy, like many complementary

therapies, has wide appeal for all, from babies through to older people, men and women alike. The physical act of touching and massaging in itself is incredibly healing for people living with HIV, helping to strengthen the bond between parent and child, partners, and clients and therapists. Many carers, too, seek to bring aromatherapy into their own lives, recognising the need to take care of themselves and avoid 'burn out'. However, it is vital to remember that essential oils are extremely potent and need to be used with caution and respect. In particular, during pregnancy, some oils must not be used. If you are in any doubt, seek the advice of a qualified practitioner.
