positive nation

a loving partner, education and common sense -

not with high-dose steroids, attitude and trying to feel better at the expense of guys who are skinnier, fatter, shorter or spottier than myself. To take my favourite line from Muriel's Wedding, "You can't say that! We're beautiful".
Andrew Whitehead, London NW5
HIV does not discriminate
I gave the busy editor a lot of work to do to chop up my streams of bile and squeeze me on to the SpeakUp page [Old Fart Strikes Back, PN 78, p52]. He did a pretty good job and managed to preserve a trace of my vile obnoxiousness, but I never wanted to say that the virus discriminates. It does not! I was hoping to imply that there should be a place for all in HIV services, and that no one should feel excluded.
Dick Splash, London SE15
