Straight people are not bigots

Dick Splash (letters, PN July) is a bigot himself, if he thinks that straight people like me are bigoted when they are disgusted at explicit descriptions of gay sex. I've seen many a look of horror on my gay friends' faces when I talk about straight sex. It has nothing whatsoever to do with bigotry, and everything to do with sexual preference.

New-fill does work
In response to Steve White's letter (PN July), I was surprised to hear that the NewFill injections he had did not work. Of the nearly 30 patients treated by me at Ealing Hospital over the last 14 months, there has been a 100 per cent response rate, although some people need seven or eight sessions to have the desired effect. Only one person has had a side effect - an allergic inflammation. As Steve White says, the initial filling effect of the injection is just due to the volume of fluid injected and disappears after a day or so. The more long lasting response takes some weeks to develop. As for the cost, one session treating both cheeks costs Ealing NHS Hospital Trust £150 + VAT. The cost of private treatment is due to the cost of overheads and a profit margin. The North West London Sector of the NHS is looking at ways of providing NewFill at a reduced cost.

I will sue over neuropathy
I would like to correct a few facts in your news piece about my legal action against the north Middlesex Hospital (PN June). I don't 'wish to remain anonymous'
