For instance, this year the US voted a budget of $393 billion for defence
spending. Yes, terrorism is a threat - the World Trade Center attack cost
3,000 lives - it was a human tragedy - but with three million deaths in
2001, and 8,000 recorded every day, Aids is a bigger threat and tragedy.
The real work now is back at home, with our communities, in our villages.
As you go home, do not let anyone take away your dignity. The days you
feel lonely in your battle, remember we are 36 millions. We have been
infected with HIV - it is now our turn to contaminate the world with the
spirit of being "positively positive".
With God giving us wisdom, foresight and strength, we'll work until everyone
realises that discrimination is just ignorance.
