CAMBODIA cannot WAIT
positive nation

positive. 80,000 have already died from Aids...but only about 120 people are receiving treatment."
Bunthy himself cannot afford to pay for the medication to

keep him alive. "I do not have treatment at present. It is $650 for one month's medication. Few positive people can afford this.
"The government is very poor, and says it has no money. It likes what COPHA does and has passed laws saying that positive people are important and should not be discriminated against, but still they give no money".
Bunthy is desperate for the rest of the world to know about what is happening in Cambodia and applies for scholarships to attend events like the Barcelona conference to get his message across and get funding for COPHA. "I am looking for donors for our organisation. We only have one and a half months left of a grant. People say they want to support us but next year, not now. However we need it now. I feel hopeless sometimes. 200 people get infected every day in Cambodia and every day more and more people die."

Bunthy can be contacted at COPHA, 21, St.600 Boeung Kak II, Tuol Kork, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
