Just read your October issue and wanted
to drop you a line to thank you for a damn good 'rag'. You kindly send
me a copy each month since I became '+' in 2000. Thank you. I really find
it a life-line.
When I was diagnosed, I thought I could disclose my health status, but
found my friends ran for the hills. And I had to give up work when so-called
workmates refused to use plates and cutlery, for fear of 'catching Aids'.
But life goes on, and things are looking up since I went on to a drug
combo in June. My viral load came down from a million to 50, with virtually
no side effects.
So if anyone is in a similar position of deciding whether to go on combination
therapy, do it. You feel so much better, especially when you see your
blood results! Try not to listen to the horror stories from the barflies
of when they started. We are all different, remember that, and with luck
even we have a future.
Sorry for getting on my soap-box, I just wanted to thank you very much,
PN - keep up the good work.

First of all, I cannot get the right words to thank the entire staff of
Positive Nation for a wonderful magazine, which keeps us informed of the
latest HIV/Aids news not only in UK, but also around the world. Once again,
a BIG THANK YOU for the Positive Nation magazine I receive every month.
