making.
During the dinner reception, local schoolchildren will be painting
along in response to the art on display. Celebrities and luminaries
due to attend include Lady Sarah Chatto, Jordan and David Soul.
Soul and cabaret entertainer, Sadie Nine will perform on the night.
As well as the children’s art, other exhibits
have been donated including a piece submitted by Michael Levy valued
at around £6,000 and original designs for Cher’s tour
costumes.
The World Aids Day dinner and exhibition project will fundraise
for five organisations: South Africa’s Wola Nani, the Malawi
World Medical Fund, the Johannesburg Peer Education Programme, India’s
orphanage Manavya and the MADaboutART charity. As well as the young
art on display, expect a champagne reception and four-course meal
with wine and entertainment. Tickets £65. Tel/fax: 020 |
