‘Stigma? Get over it’. The reality of living with
the virus begins and ends with personal responsibility and the dialogue
we have within. This means the only limits to the achievable are
the ones we set ourselves, so it’s vital that the outside
world knows we don’t see ourselves as victims. Victims allow
others to make decisions on their behalf and live in fear. Stigma,
schmigma...the real battleground is around universal human rights.

No sweat, baby
Thank you so much for sending me your fantastic magazine every month.
Since my +ve diagnosis (while pregnant) a year ago PN has been a
great source of encouragement, reflection and laughter. I’d
just like to say that I have never been happier, more fulfilled
or more excited about life than I am right now. Although I raged,
howled and grieved for the first couple of months, I have now learnt
to be content irrespective of the situation, to take full responsibility
for my actions, to not ‘sweat the small stuff’. Most
importantly, I have learnt to love the people in my life (myself
included) properly, and to let go of those that needed to be let
go. Thank you so much PN.
