MadaboutArt, the UK charity that works through art to deliver HIV and Aids education and prevention initiatives, held their World Aids Day event at the Shaw Theatre in Euston on November 30th. See Arts Page 56. Larry Gurney, founder of the charity (pictured) said the money raised would help their goal of better HIV and Aids education for children - both in the UK and in Africa. over £7,500 for the UKC with an hilarious auction at this year’s
Glitterball Dinner. The event was also a fabulous success for organiser Tony

Over 250 young people, dressed up as condoms, descended on Trafalgar Square
in pouring rain on November 30th as part of World Aids stunt by youth charity
Kikass to breathe new life into sexual health awareness. The sex god Martin
Brooks, aka Ginger Prince (pictured in a pink spandex outfit) starred. Details

Stephen Bitti, UKC chief executive, pictured (right) presenting volunteer
Noir Morgan with a free holiday for two to Gran Canaria, donated by Respect
Holidays, for collecting the most. Volunteers rattled collecting buckets at
over 30 different gay pubs and clubs around the capital and raised a magnificent £7,500.

Positive Futures, organised a celebration of the UK industry’s fight
against HIV stigma and discrimination at City Hall on World Aids Day. Speaker
