Parents and children New DVD

Positive Parenting and Children (PPC) is a South London based family support agency. PPC services, are child-focused, and work by addressing the needs of the family as a whole, including parent’s needs. PPC’s vision is for children, young people and families living with HIV and AIDS, to have a voice empowering them to feel valued and able to participate in society to their full abilities

PPC has announced that The CRIB young peoples group are launching their website and DVD Learn More Discriminate Less made possible through grants from Help a London Child and Awards for All. The website provides information, advice and support for children and young people affected by HIV. PPC hopes it will be especially useful for those without easy access to peer support

PPC is now a fully registered Independent fostering agency, providing a support care service for families affected by HIV. They currently have two foster carers registered in south London for more information please contact karen@ppclondon.org.uk

The fathers support group is adressing the gap in service provision for fathers and recognises the strength fathers can offer to children affected and infected with HIV, while the family project offers peer support advice and information to parents and carers.
