New HIV podcast launches

Creation Podcasts this Monday successfully launched their first edition of Positive Life, the first official HIV and sexual health podcast,

The monthly podcast is powered by Positive Nation, Sugar Media’s premier publication on HIV and sexual health. Creation Podcasts, which distributes the podcast on their website, is owned by Capital Radio and Classic FM parent GCap.

The brainchild of Yannick Lawry, former Gaydar Radio presenter and producer, Positive Life aims to bring the latest news and views on sexual health and HIV to an even wider audience.

Following the successful launch of Creation’s “The Daily Outcast” in 2007 (the first foray into gay programming by a UK commercial radio group), Lawry decided he wanted to focus specifically on sexual health issues. About launching the new show, Lawry says:

“Positive Life Podcast is an invaluable tool – not only for people living with HIV, their friends and families but for anyone with an interest in sexual health. With Positive Life the podcast we can cover up-to-date information about advances in HIV; debating issues, speaking to healthcare professionals and also courageous men and women who can share their own inspirational stories. The podcast will be hosted at creationpodcasts.com as well as on Positive Nation’s website. Users will be able to subscribe via iTunes.
