Crusaid’s Walk for Life 2008 is this Sunday

Get yourself sponsored for this fun walk through London. Everybody’s welcome, and there’ll be free entertainment at the main event village at the end of the walk. And while the walk is only 10km, the difference made will go so much further – dramatically improving the lives of people affected by HIV and AIDS in the UK and Africa.

Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) is looking for people to join its Positive Participation Group (PPG). The PPG is made up of people living with HIV who have volunteered to help THT develop its strategy and plans for the future. It acts as a ‘critical friend’, giving constructive feedback on the charity’s current and future work.

Little Britain raises big money at the Lighthouse Gala Auction
A walk-on part in Little Britain USA raised £9,000 at the Lighthouse Gala Auction on 11 March. Tracey Emin’s neon ‘I promise to love you’ raised £26,000 and Tony Blair’s last party conference speech as Prime Minister made £4,200. In total the evening raised over £200,000 for HIV and sexual health charity, Terrence Higgins Trust.
